The Neuroscience secrets from Dr. Alan Watkins – “Being Brilliant Every Single Day”

This Video series is a great resource for Leadership, Peak Performance and Personal Productivity. I am really happy I found this incredible TEDx Video. Dr. Alan Watkins has always surprised me.  The short story to remember is the following:

Physiology > Emotion > Feeling > Thinking > Behavior > Results (Performance) = Productivity

This is the Formula, the Cheat-key for understanding and changing the way we DO the things we DO. Cranking your “A”game. This formula goes by the moto “DIY Lobotomize your frontal lobe” and you’ll be in NO control of the most simple task or activity. Gain control of your Physiology and Breath and you’ll be in Continuous Peak Performance.  This means that extreme pressure or stress gets you completely in no control of your performance or even your perception or awareness because Biology has disrupted your consciousness.

Here is the Second Part of this presentation. Dr. Alan Watkins digs a little bit more on our perception and awareness under pressure. “We are built that way” is the explanation, here you will find the way to tweak your self and gain better understanding as to how gain Continuous Peak Performance.

You can’t tweak the quality of your thinking by thinking. No matter how much you think about getting smarter or like Einstein said: “You can NOT solve a problem with the same mind that created it”. You can not solve problems at the same level of thinking that created them.

Learn to Breathe Rhythmically and Smoothly and you’ll be the master of your destiny, Continuous Peak Performance will be your Name.
